Write one decision at a time

Put the easiest, safest question first. Explain why sensitive data is needed. Use branching to remove irrelevant work rather than to hide choices.

Question quality check

  • Can one person answer without guessing?
  • Does the label name the expected unit or format?
  • Is “prefer not to answer” available where it matters?
  • Will the exported value make sense without the form?

Accessibility is part of completion

Every form supports keyboard movement, visible focus, labels, instructions, error summaries, reduced motion, and contrast checks.

Before publishing

  • Complete the form without a mouse.
  • Zoom to 200% and try a narrow viewport.
  • Read errors with a screen reader.
  • Check every branch and ending.

Private by default

Drafts remain private. Publishing creates a public link only after review. Closing a form preserves results. Deleting offers a recovery window.

Honest limitations

This first release stores the demo workspace in this browser. Email delivery, team invites, custom domains, and server-backed submissions remain visibly marked until connected.
